Quality and Safety
There has Never been a time like today when it comes to health care emphasis on Cost, Quality and Safety. St. Gabriel’s Health’s facilities have a variety of programs and policies in place to help our customers to understand and access resources related to cost, quality and safety and, in general, navigate the health care continuum.
The Joint Commission
Joint Commission accreditation is a voluntary survey focused on organizing and strengthening patient safety efforts while providing the hospital’s customers with a commitment to the highest quality services. By seeking Joint Commission accreditation, St. Gabriel’s Hospital and our affiliates — Family Medical Center, including Community Medical Center in Pierz and Randall Lakes Area Clinic; Little Falls Orthopedics; and CHI Health at Home – Home Health and Hospice — are focusing on performance improvement that will help the organization continuously improve the safety and quality of care.
If you have a complaint about patient safety or quality of care at St. Gabriel’s Hospital, please contact St. Gabriel’s Hospital administration by telephone at 320-631-5601. You may also contact The Joint Commission (TJC) directly by telephone at 800-994-6610 (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, weekdays); by email at complaint@jointcommission.org; or visit the Joint Commission website at http://www.jointcommission.org, Office of Quality Monitoring The Joint Commission, One Renaissance Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
